Castle HillWhile working for the SBC, I was given the chance to take on any masonry projects that came our way. This was a wonderful chance to become intimate with cultured stone. A hired mason and I applied over 1,00 square feet of cultured stone over a 3.5 month period. The intention was to to make the entire foundation look as if it was a dry laid stone foundation. Together we incorporated natural stone to mimic lentils and windowsills for the openings in the foundation, and capped a large cement retaining wall with similar stones to give the look of a old stone wall. it was a hot dusty job, but at the end we feel it came out beautifully. |
