Long Pond RoadThis was one of two houses I was lead carpenter and jobsite supervisor for the SBC. It was designed by a well established Architectural firm from Boston, and won the BSA Honor Award in 2010. I love this house because it used modern design and in some cases inexpensive materials to provide a beautiful look. For example, the kitchen below has concrete countertops and IKEA cabinets. With custom built shelves, proper lighting, and the backdrop of cedar interior walls the kitchen just "pops." I was also asked to do unique details like the "hidden door" below, which allowed continuity throughout the small living space. |
